BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Public Works is set to host a bulky waste collection event in Tehachapi this month, during which county residents can drop off large residential trash items for free.
The event is set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 25, at the Waste Management Yard at 416 North Dennison Rd., according to Public Works officials.

Bulky waste includes household appliances like refrigerators and water heaters, mattresses, furniture, electronics, barbecue grills and other large household items.
