The dream of finding an affordable home can feel increasingly out of reach for many prospective buyers, especially those in the middle-income bracket.

A recent collaborative report, the May 2026 Housing Mismatch Report, from Realtor.comĀ® and the National Association of RealtorsĀ®, sheds light on this critical issue.
