Expecting a baby or being the new parent of a baby can be a fun and emotional time. The Weaverville Library hosts a “Community Building for Expectant and New Parents” meeting at 3 p.m. every Friday.
This is a casual gathering of expectant and new parents/caregivers of babies 0-18 months. This is a space for attendees to connect and share experiences of pregnancy and parenthood.
There will be vinyl mats plus baby toys and instruments. Please note that while older siblings are welcome, this event is primarily designed to be a safe space for parents and babies from 0-18 months. Parents/caregivers will be responsible for ensuring that all children are behaving safely (appropriate use of toys and mindfulness that the play space is specifically designed for babies)…
