Toledo City Council drops gas station moratorium, will move forward with study

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo City Council is dropping a proposed six-month moratorium on new gas stations within city limits and will instead move directly to a study of the issue.

In May, council discussed a full pause on new gas station construction while a study was conducted. Council has since dropped the moratorium and will proceed with the study alone on zoning categories for gas stations.
