Residents are invited to a special community event honoring three Harborcreek hometown heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice during the War on Terror. The event will be held at Werner Books and Coffee, located in the Liberty Center, 3608 Liberty Street, on July 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the lives and service of Bryan Bell, Donald Oaks Jr., and Jarrid King, three local servicemen whose sacrifices continue to be remembered throughout the community.
The event will also feature the opportunity to purchase the book, “My Son Comes Home,” which highlights the experiences and stories connected to military service and loss. In addition, representatives from local veteran organizations will be on hand to provide information about resources and support available to veterans and their families…
