HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky State Police are investigating after a pedestrian died after being hit by a car on South Green Street near Clay Street in Henderson on Tuesday night.
According to authorities, the pedestrian left the Dodge Market and was heading toward Clay Street just before 11:30 when a driver traveling eastbound into the city limits struck the pedestrian. The victim, identified as 66-year-old Lamont Henderson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the driver has not been charged, and authorities are still waiting to do accident reconstruction…
