Attorneys ask for extended review in Las Vegas horse stabbing case

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A decision to certify a 17-year-old girl as an adult in a horse-stabbing case has been pushed back to Aug. 19.

The teenager – who is not being named by 8 News Now because she is a minor — did not appear in juvenile court on July 8. Her attorney was instead present on her behalf.

According to Judge Linda Marquis, the certification report as well as a toxicology report were filed with the court.

However, the teenager’s attorney and prosecutors agreed to continue the matter for review until the August 19 date…
