MARTINEZ, Ga. (WJBF) – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said there were no injuries in the drive by shooting on Tuesday. However, one business on Washington Road was damaged by a bullet.

Jeff’s Sewing and Vacuum had a bullet hit the roof and go into a classroom.
“The bullet was still warm when we picked it up,” said manager Catherine Alva. “We saw the police outside and realized that they were actually chasing someone that had been driving down Washington Road I guess just shooting or something.”
Law enforcement said suspect Alexis Miller drove the car and is the only suspect from Columbia County. The incident is not believed to have been planned…
