Ohio CAUV drops for 2026: Key changes for farmers

For the 41 counties undergoing reappraisal in 2026, current agricultural use values will drop an average of 5%, potentially lowering property tax bills.

Permanent pastureland gets new valuation. Qualifying permanent pastureland will now be valued at the minimum woodland rate of $230 per acre.
