A 2-alarm fire in Salt Lake City posed a threat to nearby structures Wednesday, although crews were able to get the fire under control before any damage occurred.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to the vegetation fire located in the Wasatch Hollow neighborhood, near 1800 East 1400 South, just before 5 p.m., and within 45 minutes, said they had a good handle on the fire and had it under control.
