It’s another busy summer week in the Sioux Empire, with so many things on the calendar that you could see and do that it’s hard to slow down at all. But there is an event going on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, that might help you take a bit of a breather while helping out someone else.

The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House and Center for Families is asking the community to help them stock up on all kinds of non-perishable food items and supplies. Just think about everything you need to run your home. Maybe while you’re shopping for yourself, you could do a little for them too.

It could be as simple as grabbing some extra peanut butter and jelly, or disposable plates and napkins, maybe even disinfecting wipes and a broom. Their list is long, and you don’t have to worry about grabbing a lot, because every little bit that you can contribute will help their guests feel more comfortable and taken care of.
