ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A man is facing multiple felony charges after Asheville police said he went on a violent crime spree that began with the robbery of a downtown clothing store, and escalated into the theft of a FedEx truck, and ended when officers surrounded a home and convinced him to surrender.
According to the Asheville Police Department, 60-year-old Harold Rogers Jr. walked into Vida by Vivian, a clothing boutique in downtown Asheville, around 5 p.m. Thursday, July 9.
