McDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A joint law enforcement operation in McDowell County Tuesday resulted in a combined 56 violations and charges, authorities said.
Working in conjunction, the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Old Fort Police Department placed checkpoints and saturation patrols, they said. The goal was to promote safety while also enforcing traffic laws and identifying criminal activity.
