SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A loved one of the 22-year-old Savannah State University student-athlete recently detained by ICE spoke to WSAV Friday.
Lynn Tiberio, the mother of Johan Sandoval’s fiancé, said he and her daughter, Adriana Wade, met on social media while Sandoval was going to school at Bryant and Stratton College (B&SC) in New York.
“He just makes her happy,” said Tiberio. “I think he actually makes her a better person. I think they make each other better, truthfully. And I cannot wait to make him a permanent addition to our family.”
