Dragon Lights Festival bringing “Many Worlds Aglow” exhibit to Reno

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Dragon Lights Festival is returning to Reno this fall. The popular lantern festival will illuminate the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Gardens at Rancho San Rafael Park with a dazzling blend of art, culture, and nature.

Huiyuan Liu, event manager at Tianyu Arts & Culture, stopped by Morning Break to share details of this year’s theme. “Many Worlds Aglow” celebrates the rich tapestry of global cultures. For the first time, the event weaves together three distinct cultural worlds into a single immersive journey, celebrating the wildlife and landscapes of the African desert, the age of the dinosaurs and the lantern traditions of Asia.

The Interactive Zone features 15 glowing installations designed for hands-on fun inviting visitors to touch, sit, and play. These engaging displays are scattered throughout the event, with highlights including the popular Moon Glow Swings, the Elf Jump motion-sensor floor game, and other immersive experiences sure to delight guests of all ages…
