(WJET/WFXP)– The former SCI Forest corrections officer who pled guilty to stealing the personal information of several inmates and having inapporpriate relationships with others received her sentence.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday’s office announced 36-year-old Kristina Miller of Kane was sentenced to 22 to 44 months in state prison after pleading guilty to institutional sexual assault, unlawful use of a computer, and conspiracy to commit identity theft.

As part of the sentence, Miller will also have to register as a sex offender for 15 years and pay restitution to the victims.
Sunday said Miller worked at SCI Forest from 2020 to 2023 and would send inmates’ personal information from the prison database to another person as part of a larger financial fraud scheme, all while allegedly having a sexual relationship with at least three inmates.

“This defendant not only abused her authority, but she compromised the safety of our correctional institutions and damaged the reputations of officers who work those facilities with integrity,” Attorney General Sunday said. “I am grateful to the Pennsylvania State Police and our team for a thorough investigation and prosecution which led to this appropriate resolution.”…
