BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) has reached capacity and is asking the community to consider adopting or fostering dogs.
In a July 10 Facebook post, the shelter said nearly every kennel is full and has no room for emergency placements or returned dogs.
