BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after crashing a vehicle into a home near Overland and Coronado, prompting a structural collapse response from Boise Fire.
Boise Fire and Boise Police responded around 1:45 p.m. Sunday. Ada County Paramedics treated the driver at the scene before transporting her to the hospital. Officials said there were no passengers in the vehicle and no other injuries were reported at the scene.
Fire crews found damaged power lines under the vehicle, creating additional hazards. Because of the extent of the damage, Boise Fire Command requested Heavy Rescue 7, Tech 7, and the structural collapse trailer, and the call was upgraded to a structural collapse.
