“A French Toast” premieres at Meanwhile Park in Salt Lake City

The play “A French Toast,” explored faith, identity and family at the July 9 premiere in a local backyard venue, Meanwhile Park.

Playwright Matthew Ivan Bennett and director Jason Bowcutt premiered the show at Meanwhile Park, a community theater founded by Salt Lake City native Jeff Paris. Before the show, attendees mingled and enjoyed French-themed snacks and drinks, relevant to the play’s setting. The production will run until July 19.
