LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Monsoon moisture is here, however, there is only a slight chance that the Las Vegas valley will see thunderstorms as we head into the week.
While the monsoon moisture is here, we have limited energy to form thunderstorms in the short term due to how dry we’ve been. It’s going to take time to saturate our air, so we’ll see how fast we can cook up these storms. But, for now, we have only slight chances for thunderstorms today through Wednesday.

The most activity the valley will see is breezy winds and lots of clouds, which are expected for the rest of the week, in addition to storm chances.
Rain showers will continue to push west across Mohave County and parts of the Colorado River valley area Sunday, with scattered coverage there. Better chances for rain in the local mountains for the rest of this week as well…
