Five Questions for Kelly Williams

Kelly Williams had been a massage therapist for 15 years, but she had to get a hip replaced and was looking for less physically demanding work when she met Brother Paul two years ago. Her only child was headed off to college, so everything was transitioning for her. She intended to step outside of her comfort zone and connect with people. To do that, she felt she needed to face fears and change some familiar patterns. For her, Brother Paul’s message, “Love God, Love You, Love Others” felt like a perfect fit.

Long ago, I was a server at Chili’s, then the Montevallo Grill, and that began my time in the food industry. I managed Eclipse Coffee and Books in Montevallo after working there for several years as well.

What’s been your favorite part of working at Brother Paul’s BBQ?

My favorite part about Brother Paul’s has been the people. I’ve developed strong relationships with co-workers and customers. It brings me joy each day to see them and serve amazing food, which brings its own joy.
