Murfreesboro City Schools will go beyond matching the longer school-year breaks that the Rutherford County district provides in 2026-27.
The city district’s calendar for the upcoming school year will also include a four-day weekend for students starting Feb. 12 on a Friday through Presidents Day Feb. 15 on a Monday. That’s longer than the three-day weekend for county district students.
