City of Rochester marks 10 years of helping entrepreneurs through loan program

The city of Rochester is marking 10 years of being part of the Kiva small business loan program.

Officials say Kiva Rochester has given out $1.6 million in microloans to local entrepreneurs since 2016.

It’s part of a globally crowdfunded micro-lending platform that allows people to lend as little as $25 to support entrepreneurs. It also helps businesses get 0% interest loans with no fees, no collateral and no minimum credit score requirements…
