BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Recovery efforts began Monday, July 13, for the body of 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather.
Investigators believe the teenager was dumped at the North Landfill in East Baton Rouge Parish following his death.
The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) announced it is holding a news conference at 3 p.m. to address the start of excavation at the landfill.
