JEFF DAVIS PARISH, LA. (KLFY) — Jury selection began for the case involving the Jeff Davis parents who were charged with second degree murder of a juvenile, officials said.
Jennifer Ann Duhon and Adam Duhon were arrested on February 16, 2023 involving the death of a 13-year-old boy, officials reported.
A criminal investigation began on October 20, 2022 and detectives interviewed neighbors and family members, as well as obtaining medical records. It was learned that the child died on October 17, 2022 at Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, officials said. An autopsy was performed on October 24, 2022 and a report provided to the Jefferson Davis Parish Coroner on January 10, 2023.
