PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The longtime friend of a 68-year-old hiker who survived after going missing for more than two days in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness is sharing his gratitude for the massive rescue effort that brought him home.
“We had four counties that were looking for him, over 100 people and they made it happen,” Scott Gibson said.
