McCollum Family Launches New Wine Estate

CARLTON, Ore. — CJ and Elise McCollum have launched a new winery, McCollum Family Vineyard, built around a 318-acre estate in the Yamhill-Carlton American Viticultural Area, the couple announced in a press release on June 17.

The new label is a companion to McCollum Heritage 91, the wine brand that former Portland Trailblazer now Atlanta Hawks guard CJ McCollum and his wife launched in 2020, according to the release. Heritage 91 wines will continue to be sold through distribution channels said McCollum Family Wines consumer sales representative Natalie Schmidt.

McCollum Heritage 91 wines have in the past been produced at Adelsheim Vineyard, located just outside Newberg, according to prior reporting by KGW in 2021, when the McCollums prepared the Yamhill-Carlton property for grape production while continuing to produce at Adelsheim.
