Drivers in Rutherford County can expect to see more traffic enforcement this week as local agencies join law enforcement across five states for “Operation Southern Slow Down.”
The speed enforcement and awareness campaign runs from July 13-19 in Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. The effort focuses on reducing speeding-related crashes during the busy summer travel season.
