Man sentenced for murder two years after Martin Luther King West shooting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse man was sentenced for a fatal shooting that occurred in Syracuse more than two years ago.

The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday that Kenneth Lewis was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison. He previously pleaded guilty to murder in connection with the shooting.

He also pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. His sentencing for this plea will run concurrently with his sentence for murder…
