Charges possible after fireworks dispute outside Champlin home of Sen. John Hoffman

Hennepin County prosecutors have confirmed they are weighing possible charges in an incident that reportedly took place outside the Champlin home of State Sen. John Hoffman earlier this month.

According to police, officers were called to the 8200 block of 109th Place after they were alerted about a “dispute” between neighbors that involved fireworks.

“During the incident, a 66-year-old male allegedly discharged fireworks toward a neighboring residence,” a release from the department notes…
