SALT LAKE CITY — As parents, we spend so much of our lives in protector mode watching, teaching, guiding and helping our kids. But parenting isn’t just about protecting, it’s about preparing. We’re raising future adults who will carry forward the values we care about. Things like kindness, faith, respect for others, love of God, community and country.
KSL Parenting Contributor Heather Johnson shared how to help kids develop those qualities now. Teaching concepts like devotion, loyalty and moral courage sounds overwhelming, but Johnson said there’s really no perfect moment.
