ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The CDC is tracking thousands of cases of cyclosporiasis nationwide. The parasitic stomach illness is brought on by contaminated produce, and local nutrition experts are offering alternatives to help keep you safe.
The illness can cause weeks of severe diarrhea caused by the cyclospora parasite.
