PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Body camera video shows the moment that a deputy climbed into a storm drain along U.S. Highway 19 to rescue two ducklings.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call on July 2 about a woman walking along U.S. 19.

Deputies arrived to find the woman attempting to rescue two ducklings that were crossing the highway when they fell down a storm drain.
“Mom was nowhere in sight, and as busy as U.S. 19 is, who knows what happened,” PCSO said in a Facebook post.
A deputy climbed into the storm drain, finding one of the ducklings and placing it in a box, according to video.
