As the 2026-2027 school year is set to begin next month, local first responders and an area school district will be conducting an emergency exercise in August.
Per an announcement from Aransas Pass ISD on July 8, the district will be conducting a joint exercise along with the Aransas Pass Police Department and other area first responders.
