Tulsa Zoo hand-raises four flamingo chicks born over the summer

Visitors to the Tulsa Zoo may soon spot some new additions to the flamingo flock after zookeepers began hand-raising four flamingo chicks born this summer.

The chicks, which hatched within about five days of one another, are being cared for at the zoo’s Conservation Center before eventually joining the rest of the flock on exhibit.
