The past is not too far behind the present day, according to Michael Brohman, a Denver artist who recently won a $10,000 first-place juror award in Colorado Springs’ Art on the Streets program.
Brohman described himself as a contemporary artist who works in creating three-dimensional cultural landscapes — each piece ties in the rich history of the land that many call home.
