SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — US health officials are advising an uptick in Cyclosporiasis cases, with the CDC reporting over 1,600 confirmed cases across the country.
A large number of cases this year are heavily within the Midwest.
“It seems to have been in Michigan, but it’s been spread to many of the other states.” said Dr. Steven Brown, a Physician at the Mercy Virtual Care Center, “Probably over 5000 suspected cases, so you need to be aware of this. It is a real deal and something to be concerned about.”…
