NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Attorney General Liz Murrill announced the guilty verdict of a man who struck and killed a DOTD worker in 2024.
Oscar Perez-Moran was found guilty of vehicular homicide on July 15, 2026.
The crash happened on Sept. 24 and claimed the life of 23-year-old Eric Anthony Jr., a Motorist Assistance Patrol (MAP) worker with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).
