OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A second criminal case has been filed against the driver accused in a crash that killed two children.
The second case against Tanner Hunt, 28, of Elkhorn was filed Tuesday and adds three misdemeanor charges: no proof of insurance, driving with a revoked license, and refusal to submit to a blood, breath or urine test.
Trial on those counts is set for Aug. 17, with bond set at $25,000.
Police said the crash happened last Thursday. OPD confirmed the 10-year-old’s death on Friday, and the 5-year-old’s death on Wednesday. On Thursday, police released the brothers’ identities: Zaiden, 5, and Prestin Strassenburg, 10…
