Cooler temperatures and lower rain chance possible Thursday in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Wednesday’s weather was a wild ride and will leave temperatures cooler on what will likely be a less rainy Thursday.

The Albuquerque metro will likely see a lower chance Thursday – around a 20% chance – as slightly drier air moves in. Wednesday’s rain will mean cooler temperatures Thursday.

Showers and storms are set to once again fire off late this morning/early afternoon in the higher terrain spots of northern and western New Mexico and near the western slopes of the Sacramento Mountains.
