SBA opens Business Recovery Center in Rock County to assist disaster-affected residents

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced on July 16 the opening of a Business Recovery Center in Rock County, Wisconsin, to support businesses, private nonprofits, and residents impacted by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred from April 13 to April 23.

Beginning Wednesday, July 15, SBA customer service representatives will be available at the Daniel Hale Williams Resource Center at 1717 Center Ave., Janesville. The center operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with walk-ins welcome and appointments available online. Representatives will assist with disaster loan applications and answer questions related to recovery resources.

“SBA’s Business Recovery Centers have consistently proven their value to business owners following a disaster,” said Chris Stallings, Associate Administrator of the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience at SBA. “Business owners can visit these centers to meet face-to-face with specialists who will guide them through the disaster loan application process and connect them with resources to support their recovery.”…
