AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Lucy. C. Laney High School announced a Prayer & Balloon Release will be held Sunday, July 19 to honor the life and legacy of the late Coach Otis Smart.
The event will be held starting at 6 p.m. at the Lucy C. Laney Memorial Stadium at 1340 Laney Walker Boulevard in Augusta.
Balloons in the colors of white, red, black and silver can be brought to represent the following:
- White – Current & Former Players
- Red – Faculty, Staff & Retirees
- Gray – Alumni & Community Supporters
- Silver – Students & Parents
