STOREY COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – The Gold Fire, west of Gold Hill in Storey County, is 100 percent contained, according to a Saturday, July 18, Bureau of Land Management – Nevada Facebook post.
The 19.3-acre fire, managed under unified command by the U.S. Wildland Fire Service and the Storey County Fire Protection District, remained within its footprint overnight into Saturday, according to the Gold Fire’s Final Report.
