LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock community is invited to join the Volunteer Center of Lubbock (VCL) as they celebrate the grand opening of its new facility on Thursday, August 27, at 1219 Avenue K.
The free open house will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. Guests can tour the new facility and enjoy refreshments.

The new facility marks an important milestone for the Volunteer Center of Lubbock. For the first time in the organization’s 36-year history, VCL has a building to call its own to serve as a center of service for the Lubbock community. The new space will provide a home for programs and opportunities that help people serve, lead and connect.
