AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF ) – Augusta Engineering has announced 13th Street will be closed starting on Monday.
According to Augusta Engineering, the reason for the closure is to allow for the installation of new stormwater piping.
Augusta Engineering that states that crews will be working throughout the area, and onsite detour signs will be posted to help guide drivers around the closure, and because this section of the roadway is already an active construction zone, motorists should use extra caution and be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and equipment in the area.
