TOWANDA, Pa. (WCMH) — A former Ohio State receiver who was facing homicide charges after an ATV crash that killed his girlfriend was sentenced Monday.
According to a news release from Bradford County Criminal Court in northeastern Pennsylvania, Julian Fleming was convicted of driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter, and sentenced to 9 to 23 months in jail, with 6 months of probation when he is released.
Fleming, 25, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence — a misdemeanor — and involuntary manslaughter — a first-degree misdemeanor — in April.

In May 2025, Fleming and his girlfriend Alyssa Boyd, 23, were traveling on an ATV in Columbia Township when a deer jumped out into the road and the vehicle crashed, throwing both Fleming and Boyd. Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene, and Fleming was taken to a hospital with serious injuries…
