HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Two Evansville women were arrested on multiple drug related charges after authorities say they conspired to deliver illicit substances to inmates in a Sullivan County prison.
According to an affidavit, authorities at the jail became reviewed prior phone calls indicating that Haley Crowe, 27, and Cierah Schlumpf, 27, would be attempt to deliver drugs to two separate inmates at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility. During questioning from authorities, Crowe admitted to giving suboxone and methamphetamine to Schlumpf and to receiving suboxone in the mail.
During a search of Crowe’s apartment, authorities reportedly also found a walmart bag containing 14 individual bags of marijuana with a total field weight of 406 grams, 102 grams of MDMA, 94 grams of heroin, 90 grams of combined methamphetamine and cocaine, a digital scale and 50 grams of an unknown peach-colored powder.
Both women were charged with three counts of dealing methamphetamine and two counts of dealing a controlled substance. Crowe was additionally charged with dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug and a felony charge of dealing marijuana. They are both being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on $20,000 bonds…
