Wyoming murder suspect arrested following high speed chase in Indiana

GRANT COUNTY, in (WKZO AM/FM) – A man wanted in connection to the murder of an elderly woman from Wyoming has been identified and arrested by state police in Indiana, following a high speed chase Monday morning that reached speeds of over 100 mph.

Indiana State Excise Police first spotted the stolen vehicle, driven by 43-year-old James W. Jackson , traveling southbound on I-69 in Grant County around 10:00 a.m. When state troopers and county deputies attempted a high-risk traffic stop, Jackson fled the scene, aggressively passing vehicles via the median and road shoulder while successfully dodging multiple police tire deflation devices.

The chase ended in Delaware County when Jackson drove the vehicle off the highway and into a field near the 236 mile-marker of I-69…
