MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man accused of killing a security guard during a shooting at Hickory Hill nightclub is now being held on a $1.5 million bond, the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office says.
The security guard was reportedly working a short shift to buy a birthday present for his mother when he was gunned down outside the Paradise Lounge on Winchester on July 12.

Dewuan Harris, 26, was charged with Murder, three counts of Criminal Attempt First-Degree Murder, and Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony in connection with the deadly shooting .
A man who was inside the club at the time of the shooting told WREG everyone had been enjoying the night before gunfire erupted.
