Survey Finds Strong Demand for Passenger Rail Linking Ann Arbor to Northern Michigan

More than 21,000 Michiganders weigh in on proposed rail line, with Washtenaw County among the strongest supporters.

A proposed passenger rail line connecting Ann Arbor with Traverse City and other Northern Michigan communities continues to generate significant public interest, according to the results of a statewide survey that drew more than 21,700 responses from every county in Michigan.
